I am so excited for you! It is always wonderful hearing about some one who has always loved AGs but never had the chance to have one of their own! I can't wait to see pictures of her arrival!

I'm so excited!
You know, the mail service would be great if it were faster. I only seem to think about stuff like that when expecting something great in the mail, LOL! And then, to entertain myself when the agony of waiting is too much, I imagine that my package is being protected by a small, courageous band of traders crossing a giant desert, under constant attack from evil... attackers, and they're bravely fighting their way through the sand-dunes, simitars flashing in the sun. So when my package *still* isn't here, I try to tell myself they're having some trouble with brigands and will be delayed a day or two - yup, this is the imagination that has me wanting Miss Joanie. I'm a little worried about balancing out how excited I'll be when she comes with the practical aspect of looking for problems, but hopefully she'll be A-okay and I won't have to bother with that.
And I've thought of a great middle name for her - Desiree. Because I've wanted her so badly!

I am very happy for you. Our #23, Maisie (means precious in Greek), is one of the most perfect AGs we ever got. You will probably get one from the same lot since it is a new doll style. I hope she is perfect.
I always think it is cute when you take pictures of a new girl being admired by toys or pets that already in your household. Have fun with Joannie Desiree. It is a perfect name for her.

How exciting! I think the name Joanie is great for AGT23.
Be encouraged about the doll. I have six dolls from AG and each one arrived just perfect. So there's an excellent chance that Joanie will be just splendid too. I'm looking forward to seeing your photos!

Congrats on your first AG doll.
My advice is to do as StarTrekCaptain recommended BEFORE you bond with the doll. If she is not exactly what you were expecting, immediately put her back in the box and call AG to get a replacement. Do not wait as it gets harder with each passing day to send her back.
